We stayed at the Chevron Motel and really liked it. The location is excellent – right near town and very convenient. There is free parking and also a spa. The rooms are decent-sized, a bit old but well maintained and very clean. We appreciated the cooking facilities in the room. The beds are a little dated but comfortable enough. There’s also an on-site laundry ($10 for wash, dry and powder). Margaret at reception was very welcoming and accommodating. Overall, a clean, convenient, and good-value stay. We’d recommend it!

It was a place to rest our heads. Quite outdated, and needed a top to bottom clean. Otherwise, comfortable place to spend our between activity times. Very good location. 10 minute walk to the lakefront restaurants. 5-10 minuwalk to close by supermarket and The Warehouse. Chemist Warehouse across the road.
