After making my reservation at the Tahitian Inn, I unfortunately came across a recent review mentioning how dirty and outdated the rooms were. Concerned, I reached out in advance and was reassured that management takes pride in the cleanliness of their rooms. I was also reminded that the property is under construction and that the pool was closed, which I understood. Sadly, the reassurance did not match the reality. The room — especially the bathroom — was not clean. The sinks, floors, and tub appeared dirty and honestly felt like a hazard. This went beyond being outdated; it was a cleanliness issue that should never be overlooked. Based on my experience, I do not recommend staying here.

We’ve stayed here before and had a great experience inside the main building. This time, though, we were in the back. The musty smell in the room was so bad we almost had to leave. It was honestly awful. Very disappointing.

I love this property. The room is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. We stayed here 2 nights. They clean the room and changed tower and bed sheet. High recommended. Definitely come back.
