I had booked three nights at this property for my son and I for a soccer tournament in Tampa. Our flight was delayed and we’re not able to arrive till 2:10 AM. We were exhausted and all we wanted to do is go to sleep to wake up at nine in the next morning for an We were exhausted and all we wanted to do is go to sleep to wake up at nine in the next morning for a soccer game. Upon arrival, the desk clerk would not allow us to check in. They said the property has a policy of no check-in after 2 AM. Of course I argued the point and I was given the number of a manager to call. Of course at 2 AM he did not answer. We were not allowed to check in and the rest of our reservation was canceled. I was charged for the night and then had to go down the street and pay $300 a night for a comfort Inn to sleep for six hours. This is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Upon contacting red roof in corporate they are doing nothing to compensate me.

The hotel smelled so clean and fresh as soon as you walked into the lobby. The beds and pillows were very comfy! One of the better stays that I’ve had in a while.

Staff was nice and courteous. Check in and check out was quick. Room was clean and you're 10 minutes from the Airport, Steinbrenner Field, Raymond James Stadium, etc. Nice stores and fast food places by the hotel as well. Will definitrly return here for any future trip in Tampa.

Property is clean and decent. Checkin was good. However, they have coffee maker and coffee but no mugs or stirrers. Very little shampoo, lotion or body wash. We booked a double bedroom for 3. Only 1 towel set in bathroom. Lots of misses here.

Room was large, and everything is new and modern. Rooms and public areas were extremely clean. Staff was polite. Only complaints are that the blinds do not block outside light, so at night, extremely bright parking lot lights shown throw and kept the room illuminated. They desperately need to add blackout curtains or better blinds. The pillows were cheap, and extremely thin, almost non-existent. The handicapped accessible shower when used will spill over and leave a large puddle on the rest of the bathroom floor. These are minor issues compared to all the pluses offered by this extended stay (except the blinds).
