Upon arrival at the hotel the first thing I noticed was the air conditioning was not functioning properly and the common areas including the lobby and elevator were hot. Then the staff was not at the front desk and I had to go looking for them, I eventually found them sitting down eating. Mentioned to the staff it was hot and was told there’s nothing they could do about it. After receiving my room key, locating my room and trying to enter the room the door was extremely hard to open like it was stuck, it took me using my shoulder to open the door. Once I was in the room I noticed that there were no trash bags in the trash cans, the toilet paper had brown spots on it, the room was hot and required me putting the ac down to 68 which caused the ac to run all night. In the morning the house keeping crew knocked on my door at 830am when check out wasn’t until 11am. These details made my stay very unpleasant and considering this was the “grand opening” of the hotel I feel like they should have not happened.
