Lovely old historic house, but it’s a bit rundown and needs to be better kept, the photos online did not match the actual room we got, was very cold also and not homey. I guess I had a high expectations as I have stayed in other guest houses/BnB’s in Katoomba for the same price but way better service, amenities and lovely cooked fresh breakfast to order. The owner doesn’t seem very happy.

I had stayed here a number of years ago and the comparison between then and now was very disappointing. It was previously a rather luxurious experience, now a little faded.

Hotel has old world charm Clean and tidy, room was very comfortable Gary, the host was very friendly and helpful with details of hotel and local area. Would stay again

The breakfast was most disappointing, from reading previous reviews on breakfast on how just toast cereal and canned fruit salad! I don't think I will be back 😕

My 84 year old mother and I have just returned from our stay in the Blue Mountains. Leura House was ideal for us. We were very happy with our accommodation there. Garry and his family do a marvellous job with running this historic and beautiful B&B, and Garry is so welcoming and is a font of historical knowledge about the house and the local area, so this makes staying there extra special. Basic tea & coffee making facilities were provided in our cottage accommodation, with small fridge, micro and excellent heating, comfortable beds and great little bathrooms adjoining our rooms . Simple breakfast fare provided in the lovely dining room, which is certainly enough to start your day. Getting around is easy as its a very central location and the local taxi service is brilliant - Drivers are wonderful, and no journey too short - they really love to help! We were so happy with our stay that we will be returning next year!
