Lobby ceiling was leaking, tables were sticky smelt like weed and dated. Asked for a refund so i could stay somewhere else and was denied. After checking in room smelt like mildew and ammonia.Had to get the bed sheets changed as they were covered in dog hair.

The only thing positive was the breakfast. Very overpriced for bugs on the inside wall of our room and crawling out of the rooms coffee pot. No excuse to say it's Florida, 63 year old native. Bugs in your electronics/coffee pot is infestation not a bug that made it's way inside. Looked dirty and only surfaced clean. Staff nowhere to be seen at check out. I could hear them chatting. I never write reviews but I thought going thru Expedia, I expected more. You had to of have had many complaints.

Needed more rest

The Lobby is in an awkward location between 2 walls on the outside of the doorway. The hotel itself is located a few hundred yards from the runway to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport. (PIE). So, the flights start at around 8am and run until around 10pm. The room was clean, with the minimal requirements for a hotel. (Bad cable TV, imitation hard wood flooring, Big foot staying above me last night, a micro fridge with no freezer, and poor unsecured internet.) The breakfast was open to anyone that wanted to wait for the children to run thru screaming ( I want my waffle, I want my waffle, what's that, I don't like it! etc,etc God bless you mom in a onesie going swimming later. The price was the only saving grace for me since I had been in 2 other hotels this week. I won't stay there again because of the PRICE! Knowing you are NEXT to an airport and being NEXT to an airport are 2 VERY different things.

We chose this property because of its close proximity to the airport, we were staying just 1 night. The front desk staff was friendly. The room itself was not awful, although the bathroom was in need of a deep cleaning. However, we woke in the morning to find a roach crawling up the wall. We would not return.
