This is a quaint circa 1920 old Florida cottage. It has period details. The back yard was wonderful for our small dog to explore. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. However, there are a few minor upgrades that would have made this a 5 star experience for us. For us, we had a long-term stay of one month. Because of the time, we found the cottage lacking in a few amenities that would make long-term stay easier. For instance, there are virtually no closets. One room just had a hanging rack, the other bedroom had a closet however, it was where all the bedding towels and other items were kept. There were absolutely no clothing dressers. Without dressers to put your clothes away for a one month day, living out of a suitcase became somewhat tiresome. If you are going for a short term stay, these probably wouldn’t be issues for you. We found the kitchen lacking in a lot of supplies for a long-term stay. There is only one kitchen cabinet. And it is full of dishes. There was no cabinet to store food. We stored what we could in the refrigerator, and moved things on the two shelves that held dishes and supplies for the coffee maker to make room. Again, for a long-term stay, there were some basic items missing that made it difficult to prepare meals. For instance, there was no liquid measuring cup, no potato peeler, no pairing knife,. We purchased a few of these items and left them for the next guest. Counter space is nonexistent. Overall, we enjoyed the stay though.
