Two things, not enough options for vending machines and we were surprised we had to pay for parking which we were not aware until husband was settling bill &15 dollars a day was a lot ,but hotel was great. Would recommend..

- the air temps were too hot and wouldn't cool down as required - very noisy toilet flush and seat cover - noisy bathroom door close and open - TV remote did not offer a sleep timer - the bed topper was smaller than the bed so it made the mattress width space sized to a double vs. queen size - the bar refrig doesn't fit in the cabinet well so closing the doors was a hassle - there was no room safe

Hotel staff were the epitomy of Newfoundland, extremly helpful and freindly! The hotel was very clean, but very dated. Needs a refresh! Our room view was a roof, and we were too close to the elevator (noisy). Location was fantastic! Walk to George street, Water street and the downtown. We were able to walk everywhere!

Everything was amazing the food on the 9th floor was an added treat for people on that floor. The staff on the 9th floor went above and beyond for our entire stay.

Excellent stay. Over the top attention to details: when the cleaning lady noticed we were running low on toothpaste, she left a small tube of toothpaste on the vanity in the bathroom. Absolute amazing, just like the people of St John’s.
