Fairfield St. Augustine I95

Hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation and it is needed. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. They did the best they could to make our stay comfortable. Before booking this hotel I would check on construction and is it finished. Also do to construction only a small continental breakfast was available.

During my stay at this hotel the breakfast area was under construction so they had us in a rather small corner, the room was great however, very comfortable bed and living space, on thing I can say I really appreciate is the customer service is 10/10 top tear, fyi after my stay I did seem to have some miner skin irritations

It was a distance from the popular things in St. Augustine, but I have never stayed at a Hotel that was that nice in many areas. The staff was extremely nice giving me advice on St. Augustine things. The room was perfect and very comfortable. Deb from Housekeeping was also very respectful of all our things in the room as she made sure we had everything we needed. I'll admit the breakfast can definitely be improved, but 95% of our stay was absolutely fantastic! I truly didn't want to leave for many reasons. It felt like a true vacation.

Located in a quiet area off of expressway. The hotel seems a little tired and is also in the process of updating its breakfast area. However, all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

A Decent Stay

Our room was comfy, and the breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly. The only issue was the cleanliness in the bathroom. There was quite a bit of hair in the tub and on the floor in the bathroom. Hotels will have to ask themselves if the cuts many made in housekeeping during the pandemic have been worth it. I would still recommend this place for families. But I would recommend management invest a little more in housekeeping to make their property even better.

Hotel review

Room towels were very spent & old. For breakfast, hotel didn’t have waffles. When I asked why, I was told that they ran out of the waffle mix. Overall, very limited options for breakfast. On the other hand, hotel staff were very nice and friendly.
