The water in this hotel smells foul. Our entire hotel room stunk like rotten eggs. Truly repulsive. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Springfield area regardless of the low rates.

The room was quite spacious. Enjoyed the walk in closet and large bathroom. The TV placement was odd. Not sure how to improve this given the room setup. Front desk check in was courteous. Checkout was not. I gave ample time for her to process my receipt while I was loading my luggage. Still had to wait much longer and still never received my paper receipt. Wish I had known about the switch for the refrigerator and microwave. Noted this the next morning so the food didn’t chill.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Staff was incredible! Due to a breakdown on our way to Christmas with our kids (who are scattered between three states), our plans were foiled and we had to stay in Springfield. Our family rallied and drove the extra hour and a half to meet us for a gathering, but we had no place to gather. I asked the clerk at check-in if there was any way we could have our family Christmas in the lobby, and she graciously approved. My husband and I and our 7 kids took over the lobby and had the most beautiful, lopsided Christmas that night. On top of that, the room was amazing. Clean, SO SPACIOUS, and cozy. The free breakfast was super impressive—the best we’ve seen—and the staff were all cheerful and helpful. Overall, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had! We will absolutely look for other Springhill Suites in the future!!

Very nice room, very courteous staff. One very big problem - loud noise through the night, presumably from the hotel HVAC system (NOT the room A/C unit). Wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't keep cycling on/off.

New, well-maintained, plenty of outdoor space, and actual healthy choices available for breakfast. Plenty of unhealthy choices as well, but also cage-free eggs, fresh fruits, etc. The gym is well-maintained and welcoming.
