This hotel is “OK”, but is tattered around the edges. So, I am rating it a generous 3. The room entry and bath have a floor of faux slate tiles that are made from some sort of plastic material. The grout lines are dirty. There are the usual nicks and throughout the rooms and common spaces. The bed is comfortable and the front staff friendly. In short, this hotel is overdue for a complete refresh. I would not stay here again in its current condition.

receptionist at checkin (Wyatt) could not confirm rate I was quoted at when i made reservations - instead told me i had a "variable" rate every nite - but could not explain "why" -- i had a email confirmation of a specific nightly rate -- still don't know how they came up with a VARIABLE rate at the hotel check in -- checkin receptionist did not know what he was doing --needs more training a "Popcorn smell " was throughout the hotel -- into my room my wifi was not working when i got to the room - at breakfast next morning -- there were no tea bags provided -- nor hot water available for me to use my own Tea Bags - I asked server for decaf coffee - and she said there was none pre-made -- that i had to make my own -- and pointed to a small coffee pot on another counter on the opposite side of the room from where the rest of food and "regular" coffee was LOCATED children were running through halls & dogs barking -- very noisy til after midnight -- going to sleep was not possible very disappointed in this la quinta location - i've stayed at other la quinta inns - and never had such horrible service and lack of cleaniness -- AND i checked in on the 10th of october NOT the 9th; and left on the 11th - not the 16 -- as stated in this email FROM YOU MY ORIGINAL RESERVATIONS WERE FOR THE 10TH - 17TH -- BUT LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LACK OF CLEANLINESS AND BAD ATTITUDE AND TRAINING OF STAFF

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Ease of check in and out. Fresh coffee available in lobby. Snacks and cold items avaliable if needed. I liked that hand sanitizer was placed in various areas, including inside the elevator. Did have a little trouble keeping the A/C from turning off, had to lower the temp a few times to keep it running, couldn't turn on just fan. Otherwise, very comfortable bed and even the pillows were comfortable which hotel pillows usually aren't it seems. Location near Bass Pro was nice also.

Worth the stay

This hotel is a step above a regular hotel. Room was nice and well kept. The common areas are well kept. The breakfast was good but could and should have a little more variety. Pool was nice. It's not quite a 5 star hotel but it's a 4 star hotel that can be had at an affordable price.

The people who work there were friendly and helpful. The facility is in disrepair. The elevator door does not work properly, electric outlets in the rooms didn’t work, and the shower in one room did not work well. The refrigerator has such a loud noise, it was necessary to unplug it in order to sleep.

Second stay here, and will definitely come back. Rooms are clean and comfortable, especially for the price. The breakfast is adequate. Brought my own coffee this time, since last time it was awful (not a deal breaker). Easy to get to and convenient to all the places I need to go. The staff is super friendly. This time at checkout I watched them going above and beyond for a guest who had lost something.
