Overall very nice!

Though the room was clean the slip covers on the furniture had stains on them. The hotel was full one night and very loud. Otherwise it was a good stay!

Just okay

While I hate to write a negative review, I just feel that some overall improvements could be made at this hotel. We arrived around 30 minutes early for our check-in and were tole that our room wasn't ready. Ok, I get that we're early so we sat down in the lobby to wait rather than going anywhere else. It was a long trip and we just wanted to settle in. We no sooner sat down than the person at the front desk walked over and told me that our room was now ready. Weird timing but we checked in and headed to our room. The front desk attendant wasn't overly chatty but maybe he was having a bad day so I didn't bother striking up a conversation with him. Overall the room was nice; very sparse but still nice since we would only be there for 2 nights. We grabbed a cart from the hallway near the elevators but weren't offered any help ( we are typically asked if we need help when we stay at other hotels across the US) The room just didn't feel comfortable and I found several pieces of wrapped candy next to the bed as well as underneath it and along the wall. No big deal, I just picked them up and threw them in the trash. I figured maybe young kids occupied the room before us and a proper cleaning wasn't done. The bed was very uncomfortable but I'm used to our mattress at home. The hotel is at a great location with easy access to get into Portland, and away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town.

Quiet, newer hotel

Hotel is clean, room is decent size with upholstered chair and desk for seating, bathroom adequate size with walking shower, no tub. Free breakfast with many choices. My only issue was that I stayed from Sunday to Sunday and never had my room serviced. I had to get my own towels from the front desk and try to find somewhere to empty trash. I did not ask for service but don’t feel I should have to. I placed sign on the doorknob asking for service but never received. I would stay here again but would ask that after a couple of days towels at the very least should be delivered and replaced.

As airport hotels go, this was a winner. Not fancy, and minimal to no frills (except breakfast) but that is all one needs for a short overnight stay. < 10 min from the airport, clean, refurbished, reasonably priced and a friendly staff. The only negatives: our king sized bed was too soft (for me) and no towel hooks
