We had a father son trip. 6 dads and 6, 12 year old boys. I wondered how the staff would react seeing a bunch of boys walking in around midnight. Victor, the night attendant went out of his way to ensure we had a quality stay. He opened up the pool for the kids and helped get our luggage squared away. The guy was top notch. Not what you expect from customer service in today’s world.

getting double charged by the Best Western
I paid through your site on Oct 20th for the two rooms and then i showed up and they charged me 270 per night for each room ($270 x 4). They only refunded 2 charges and now i am fighting with them to refund me the remaining $540. this is a massive inconvenience as they should have known that it was pre-paid.

OK Budget Hotel for 1 Night
We stayed overnight and our visit was just OK. I suppose it’s what we should expect for a budget-friendly stay. It was fine for one night but we will likely stay elsewhere next time. THE GOOD: Front desk staff were excellent and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was well-stocked and much appreciated. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I like that they had the 24-hour “market” next to the front desk where we could purchase snacks and such. THE BAD: Our room was a little outdated and not the cleanest (shower head was caked with soap scum). Beds were uncomfortable. We could hear our upstairs neighbors all night long, but that’s not the hotel staff’s fault, but rather poor building design. The heated indoor pool was a little chilly for our liking, and also didn’t seem well maintained (needs a good cleaning).
