We were there during a nearby Wildfire. We had to look else where for meals because the Hotel was helping provide meals for fire fighters. However, the staff was great. If we are back in the Avalon area next year, our first choice will be Hotel Harbour Grace.

Checked into one room, had a smell, was like walking into a sauna and the more we looked around the room the more dirt and stains we found. Checked out immediately and he tried to offer us a 2nd room with air conditioning, still not any cleaner.

it was good i had a convention to go to in St John no rooms available in St John that i could afford nut found this nice little hitel in Harbour Grace and i really enjoy the friendly host he was very helpful
