The Murray Premises is one of my favorite places in St. John's. The rooms are charming with the open timbers and relaxing atmosphere. My only suggestion is they need deep cleaning for dust. If you have a dust allergy you may have an issue there. Some of the light fixtures and the edges of carpets have a deep layer of dust.

Not what we were expecting. We were on the 3rd floor in a Signature Room. We felt like we were in a basement. Two narrow windows too high to see out and curtains not hanging properly. Big post on either side of bed is a hazard when going to washroom at night. Noise from the George Street bars made it hard to fall asleep. First and last time staying here. Only positive was friendliness of staff.

I love this place for it's charm, location and uniqueness. My only complaint is they need a detailed dusting in the rooms. The corners and light fixtures have a buildup of dust. Also the tub is not bathworthy clean in my opinion.

I love the location of this quaint hotel. The rooms are nice and it's interesting to see the brick and beams of the original building. The pillows and blankets are very cuddly but the bed was uncomfortable. The TV had a weird delay where the sound didn't match with the picture.

My Room was amazingly comfortable and huge in Size with a Loft style with open Beams and High Ceilings. St. Johns Downtown core, like most Cities, noisy late at night, made you feel a little uneasy to walk by yourself......over all a great experience, food choices ranged from fast food to over the top meals.

Had an excellent experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hotel was very clean , rooms very comfy and spacious, continental breakfast was sufficient. There were many dining options in the area all within walking distance. Check in was easy with very friendly staff. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend!

Avoid the elevator room

While I liked my room in the hotel, the location of the room was less than ideal. I was located directly across from the elevator which meant constant noise as people were coming and going. It made for a very disrupted night.
