okay visit to st. john's

My husband and i stayed here for 1 one night. The noise in the hallway was unbearable. WE had an early rise at 5 so didn't want to be up late. At 10;30 I had to get out of bed to ask the kids in the hallway to stop running and yelling. When it still persisted, i called the front desk. Seemed to be ok after that. WE were in a hearing impaired room. It had a doorbell, when rang it would light up a light in the room. It didn't work. Not good. Then the cover on the key scanner fell off when trying to use it.

The Staff at Hilton Hampton Suites were wonderful... and very courteous. Parking however is brutal.... if you return to the hotel after 6pm forget finding a parking spot. This hotel needs at least another 20 parking spaces. I had to park off property 2 nights in a row. Was also disappointed there was no mini fridge in the room to keep drinks etc cool. Staff were excellent and housekeeping was spot on. There was a hockey tournament going on and kids unfortunately were playing hockey in the hallways in the evening.. very noisy. Will I go back...probably yes.. Staff were 10/10.

We had a great stay! The breakfast was the best we ever had at a hotel where it’s included. The gym facilities and pool were also excellent. It was a busy Easter week with lots of students in for sports- the children were loud late at night in the hallways and banging on our doors running and screaming. That part was unfortunate.

I went to the hotel at 11:45 am and requested an early check in. The response o got was, sir, it isnt even check out time yet." To be clear check out time is 12:00 literally only 15 min until final check out. One person checked out after i arrived. Additionally, i was there for medical treatment and had a significant wound to my leg. I have stayed here many times for work and personal travel and was so turned off by the service i will not be staying there again.
