The furnishings were all new and in good condition. The unit was large and fully equipped with all the things a kitchen would need, which was convenient. It was very quiet all the time, so the insulation was great for privacy and peace. Everything was clean and parking was included. The parking was very tight, though. If you are renting a vehicle, I strongly recommend a small car, however, also take note that the streets outside are extremely damaged and you must drive VERY slowly not to damage your car for the half mile or so leading to the hotel. There are lots of businesses close by, which can be convenient. However, the streets are not really walkable because there is no real sidewalk. The restaurant of the hotel was decent, only ate there once. Tons of good restaurants about a mile away by car. There is a grocery store down the way with a cafe, juice bar, and hot food bar that was very affordable and good. The location on the beach was lovely, and so were the cabanas which were free to use. It was great snorkeling right at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were not informed of checkout time in advance, which was a full 2 hours before normal vacation checkout time. Because of this, we were rushed out still dirty from the beach with all our belongings disorganized and some wet, and had to pack in the parking lot. I travel frequently, and this was the worst checkout I've had in my life.

I liked the landscaping ,the space of the unit and the fact that the beach was placid. The distance from the lobby to my room was a bit , especially with all the lonely corridors, which would deter moving around after 8pm, for safety reasons

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The location couldn’t be better, it’s within walking distance to so many great spots, including restaurants, shops, and popular attractions. It made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable without needing transportation. The hotel itself is clean, and very comfortable. My room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed.

I’ve been to the Island a few times and I’ve even stayed at Sonesta Ocean Spa, but I simply have a love for Hilton Flamingo. Its proximity to various restaurants is ideal. Most of the staff are pretty friendly. Special shout out to Lovely, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Rooms are pristine. The only downside would be the ladies trying to get you to watch a timeshare presentation. I get that everyone has to hustle, but it’s vacation. If you ask a guest twice about a timeshare and they haven’t made themselves available it should be left alone. Beyond that, it’s a great spot to share.
