This poor place is representative of the declining tourism in Cambodia. Although it was once a great hotel, we were the only guests. The staff were amazing and doing the best they could. The greenery at the hotel is beautiful. The rooms were clean and dated. The bed is very hard. We were disappointed to find the pool with green water and murky as we had a long, hot travel day. She explained they had the rainy season, so the pool was dirty. I think it had not been cleaned for a long time. Our friend went to the hotel next door to get a room so we could enjoy a beautiful, clean pool and be close to a bar and restaurant. This hotel does not have a bar or restaurant. Breakfast is offered, but they only have a few things on the menu. Unfortunately, for this hotel, I would not stay here again. I am sad for them as I fear they may close like other hotels in Cambodia, and it is simply a lack of income from tourism.
