Kind and clean, but noisy and no sleep.

Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, noise in the room above us kept us awake most of the night. This was noise of moving furnishings.

As a frequent business traveler, I’m used to staying in more name brand chains so I was a little nervous but it was great. Room was clean and comfortable after long hiking days. It was nice to grab a quick breakfast before heading out but I would suggest adding granola for the yogurt. Overall, a great affordable option.

This hotel has been remodeled and updated. It was clean, cozy and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s not fancy, but it’s a nice place to stay. I’d stay here again.

This was not at all what the reviews made it out to be. Our room door was openwhen we arrived . Three pillows in middle of bed no cases. Tub didn't drain. Stood in wayer the whole shower & no bath soap in container in shower. Staff was nice. And room was pretty clean

We checked out early - very uncomfortable.

We checked out early - very uncomfortable. Pros: - Nice staff. - Blackout curtains. - Working A/C. - Walking distance to QFC, Taco Bell, and Lavender Festival. Cons: - Everything else. - Flase/fake balconies. - Costco breakfast. - Connected rooms with zero soundproofing. - Uncomfortable, creaky bed. - Visible disrepair on the wood floors. - Loud/creaky floors that moved when walking. We ended up rebooking elsewhere for our 2nd night and were much more comfortable. Recommend springing a bit more for the Embassy Suites down the road.

Ocean Star Inn Sequim review

I would call this a motel, not a hotel. The check-in process went well. The breakfast and location were good too. The only negative was the thin walls. We were woken up too early by people talking loud in the hallway outside of our room. We went during Lavender festival and even though we booked early, I found the rate to be very high. I would book outside of Sequim next time due to the cost of the room.

This was a great place to stay while exploring Olympic National Park. I would absolutely come back again. Good: The breakfast in the morning was legit and had something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy. And it was not far from a great restaurant (Midtown Public House in Port Angeles) that we went to twice during our 2-day stay. Areas for Improvement: It did get crowded in the breakfast area and felt like Tetris for a bit. Also, there was a little mold in the bathroom on the shower grout.
