Red Lion Inn at Port Angeles Harbor is lovely. The room was quiet and comfortable with a great balcony. The AC/heater had not was a little noisy and somewhat fussy. We liked the excellent view of harbor, close proximity to several dining options, the Discovery Trail, and Downtown.

The property was easily accessible and has a restaurant attached. When we arrived to our room after checking in there were construction members in there. They had been using the outlets because they were painting the outside of the building. So they had been going in and out from the balcony in their work boots. Because of this the floor was extremely dirty making all of our feet black covered in dirt. I informed housekeeping of the situation and they said “well they don’t clean the floors when guests are there”. I said even tho the construction crew was why the floor was so filthy? So we ended up wearing our shoes in our room the entire time.

Location is great. People are pleasant, property seems dated and needs a refresh. Room had a very nice view of the water but was lacking a lot. Mattress lacked support unless you slept in the middle, probably showing its age. No exhaust fan in bathroom, no shower soap, no place near sink to hang wet wash cloths. We stayed two nights and never had our trash cans emptied. Overpriced for what we got but the parking lot was full so the negatives have not driven people away yet.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was terrible. It had a big crack in the ceiling and we could hear the people above us every move. They happened to be up all night and keep us up. We complained and asked to switch rooms and they said no. Nothing they can do. Also the hotel is a 1 start Motel. Good location but everything else is subpar. Bathroom is from the 90s and had black mold on the ceiling. I hope I get some money back. This was terrible.

We are short handed

The view from our room was incredible. We did not get a clean towel or any trash emptied. While we were checking in we hear they were short handed and had noone to do any kind pf room cleaning. Not what you want to hear when your paying over $500 a night.
