There was an alarm going of much of the night. Someone came and took our smoke detector out after a couple of hours but that wasn’t the problem and the alarm continued.

Admittedly, I made the reservation at the last minute in a rush. One, it is not a hotel. It is a motel, rooms either facing the parking lot or on a second level. I am not a smoker but took the last room available, which was a smoking room. Still, the room reeked of so much smoke so badly that I opened all the windows and turned on the AC full blast for hours while had dinner just so I could sleep there. The next morning I purchased a Frebreeze spray and again left the windows open. I also sprayed the curtains. In addition, the area is not pedestrian safe.

Problems with first room and second room they gave us. Property was pretty old but they had made some improvements. Rooms were direct to parking so not as secure as through a lobby.
