Marriott Hotels & Resorts - accommodation in Seattle

At the guaranteed 4pm check in our room wasn’t ready, we had requested a water facing room on the pet free floor, so they gave us a room on the 29th which was newly renovated and spotless with an excellent view. But the floor creaked and groaned when we walked so I felt bad for the people below us. We were also given free access to the executive lounge, which was available for drinks and fruit and snacks until 8 pm and included the breakfast. But at 6pm there were still cold drinks but the hot water and coffee carafes were cold. They quickly got me a kettle to our room to make tea. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, roasted potato, bacon and sausages and pancakes, oatmeal, fruit etc. they were mid renovation throughout the hotel so only 2 out of 5 elevators were usable so they let people use the service elevator, which always had bags of garbage and linens etc and the scariest lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. The standout were the front desk staff , particularly Dottie, who were quick to troubleshoot any issues. It was also good parking with in and out privileges and a short walk to pike place.

Excellent location to Pier 66 where we boarded the Norwegian Joy for a cruise to Alaska. East walk downhill directly to the pier. Room and hotel overall was great for the night before embarking on the cruise ship

Great place to stay while exploring Seattle, walking distance to Pike market and light rail!
