The concierge at the front desk was very nice and polite. Room was clean and so was the property conveniently located near restaurants and my Exam location. Bummer was Wi-Fi did not work.

At night not so good. People next door played loud music second night. Next day Called phone number because no one in office. Told person of problem. Nothing happened. Loud music again next night. Probably will pay more money somewhere else next time. To have a person at desk at all times.

The room I was assigned had high frequency warning signs inside the closet ceiling that said special protective gear required beyond that access point. It was an access point to the roof. Had I known that was the case I would have Nvr booked at that place. Also, the white sheets had dark stains on them. Didn’t stay in the room for longer than 5 min. Got a partial refund, not full refund, even after speaking with several Expedia reps.

I had a fairly good experience at the Wafer 450, a small motel located in Santa Clara. The neighborhood seemed safe, and within walking distance of a few chain restaurants such as El Pollo Loco. The motel is conveniently located off a major Santa Clara road (El Camino Real), and within a few miles away from San Jose Airport. The bedroom was clean, the furnishings simple. The stay price was affordable, the room amenities included a HDTV, WiFi, and included a mini fridge. There was a simple wall-mounted heater/AC unit, which is needed for the cold winters in Santa Clara. Very satisfied with my stay which went smoothly, but nothing really stood out to make it a 5-star exceptional experience.
