This hotel has a great photographer. Room was nice and staff is great. Not sure this property deserves its 9.2 Wonderful. I’d give it a solid 8. Lots of Astro turf throughout…next to some funky apartments and the unit we stayed in had a giant wooden wall of nothing behind it. Seems to be a pretty good value for Santa Barbara so maybe that’s the wonderful. Still paid $$+

The room was spacious and comfortable. Although the main point of our visit was to see my son who’s a freshman at UCSB, we turned it into a short girls’ trip! Inn at the Harbor was perfect proximity for us to walk to restaurants on the beach, as well as the Funk Zone for Night Life. Great experience!

What a lovely inn! My room was ready early, and extremely clean. I was touched that the staff member I talked with exchanged my free sparkling wine bottle with a sparkling apple cider. I’m sober, and it was nice to still feel valued. I felt very safe and parking was extremely easy. I highly recommend, especially as a solo female traveler!

We booked a king deluxe room, but the room was very dated with old carpet and old furniture and one small window that overlooked the back of the property. We “downgraded” to a garden level king room that had newer flooring and furniture and a sliding door that let in lots of light. The desk people were friendly and helpful, offering recommendations to restaurants and giving information about local activities. The breakfast is great, the wine and cheese in the afternoon is a lovely perk. We used the bikes, they were in very good condition and comfortable for a long ride. I would stay here again, but I would not pay the extra money for a deluxe room that badly needs remodeling.
