The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is just across from a walking boardwalk and below is the beach! The views are amazing. The bed and pillows made it comfortable in order to get sleep and rest. No AC but it’s the coast so there’s a nice breeze throughout the day. Recommend you visit.

Quite beach front location. Pretty area but much too cold for swimming in the ocean. The hotel pool is heated and the they provide outdoor seating areas with gas fired pits between the building areas.

i loved everything about the stay except we were on the bottom level and the ceiling was so thin it was SO LOUD. we wanted to sleep in till 8, but at 6 the people above us were up and getting checked out and by 7ish the cleaning crew was there. i know they weren’t being loud on purpose but with the thin ceilings we heard every single move! also, the chairs in the room were really stained. the fireplace was lovely and warm and we appreciated the extra heater in the room. we fell asleep with the windows open and listened to the ocean. i’d stay here again, just on the top floor!

We love the Fog Catcher Inn. This time our sleep was disrupted by some loud families, so it wasn’t quite the peace and quiet we were seeking. Still a wonderful place, we just would have loved to be tucked away a bit more.

We stayed at the FogCatcher Inn 20 years ago. It is still a nice place to stay across from the beach. However, maybe it is me, but it seems to have lost some charm. The wonderful breakfast that used to be offered (probably a COVID victim) is no longer offered. Age and the likely constant maintenance in that climate has taken its toll. Nevertheless, I'd stay there again because of the location and sentiment. Maybe it was having kids with us this time that changed the ambiance.

When we came at 2:50, the room wasn't ready. We were disappointed more importantly the staff wasn't very friendly. While we know check-in isn't until 4:00 (which in my opinion is very late), the staff couldn't tell me when our room would be ready.

One of the selling points on this property was the ability to have breakfast delivered from a restaurant down the road. However, the QR code to order didnt work, I tried to order for pickup through the restaurant website and it didnt go through. We ended up walking to the restaurant and it was really good! Would’ve loved for the delivery concept to have been functional

We have gone to the FogCatcher in at least a dozen times in the last 25+ years. We still love the location but we are so disappointed in the facility and what’s included in the price. When we first came you got a package that included a wine tour, dinner at the Cambria Pines Lodge, a bottle of wine and breakfast at about the same price as we paid for one night now. The phone didn’t work for three days, a bottle of water was $5, and the rooms were subpar compared to the past.
