Absolutely RECOMMEND!! Fantastic location, right across the street from gorgeous Moonstone Beach and minutes from Cambria downtown. (Which is such a beautiful and lovely downtown with shops and restaurants that are so good). The property is so beautiful. The rooms are just so quaint yet elegant. No A/C, just a beautiful electric fireplace. The beds are SUPER comfy, the pillows too! Like; for real, so much I thought about asking to buy a pillow. The towels are soft too. And the shower head has a strong stream! Genuinely this place is just amazing! I want to come back today!!

Rustic but not charming

We were not informed that we had to request for housekeeping the night before. We stayed 3 nights. I ended up borrowing a vacuum from the house cleaner to vacuum the sand and dirt from the beach. We had to go to the front office to request for more coffee and tissue paper. The walls are thin and we can hear the upstairs guest walking and moving furniture. The chair and bench fabric cushions were dirty. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool, which was heated and had a glass wall for the winds.

Our room did NOT look as good as the one in the picture when I booked through Travelocity. The room smelled musty, linens are average, bed skirt was ripped and the TV is cable only that seems to be stuck in the 1990's. It was hard to open the two front windows and when my husband did, there was dust caked on the window sill. The fridge has no freezer section for ice packs. We won't be staying here again. Getting tired of hotels that charge a lot of money for a bait & switch photo.

Beautiful setting & landscaping, clean & attractive facilities (with a nice touch of elegance), quiet (despite the pool & hot tub), clean & spacious rooms (with cathedral ceilings), nice amenities (fridge, microwave oven, WiFi, & TV), and amazing & very helpful staff. The phone and refrigerator didn’t work. Shades on window in shabby condition. Key card needed to be reactivated. Base of toilet dirty. Very small bath and toilet area. Not impressed. Very ordinary. Expected more in Cambria. Would never stay there again.
