This hotel was perfection for what I was looking for. It was clean and comfortable with a beachy aesthetic. The check-in staff was lovely, offering me an upgraded room with an ocean view since I was traveling solo. The complimentary coffee and breakfast were impressive! Overall, the Sand Pebbles Inn was the perfect place to start my trip up the coast. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was perfectly adequate. There was a really odd smell, but I am really sensitive to smell. The ocean view was just out one window, but they had advertised as partial, so it was accurate. There were two long brown hairs in the shower, neither myself or my partner have long brown hair, so this was a little gross. But the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Wasn't clear from written description if there was a pool/jacuzzi on the property, but there was a photo of one on the website. Never saw the pool. Despite lots of positive comments about breakfast, we were very surprised not to find a regular breakfast room with the typical breakfast items you would find in most other hotels that offer breakfast. No mention made on the Expedia site that the breakfast wasn't served but instead, delivered to your room in a paper bag. That was disappointing since the choices for breakfast were very limited. They should have explained that on their website instead of waiting until we arrived to check in. ALSO -- there was no corkscrew in the room, despite the fact that Cambria is very close to several wineries and so undoubtedly there are hotel guests with bottles of wine. Location across from the beach was great, but there are several other hotels there from which to choose. All in all, disappointing.
