The room was HOT with no ceiling fan. The water in the shower did not drain. There was an ant problem. Checking out the staff was rude and acted inconvenienced by the guests checking out. One positive was the staff at check in. She was helpful. I would never stay at this hotel again

Great property! Comfortable and spacious rooms with fireplaces (mostly for ambience). Quiet and across the steeet from the ocean and the moonstone beach boardwalk trail. Makes for a wonderful retreat.

Great place overall. The only downside was that we had a connecting door to the next room in our room, and the gap at the bottom was so big that we could hear the guests in the next room very clearly.

I had a nice time at the Fireside Inn. I have tried several inns by the beach, and I find this is one of the better ones. It was an enjoyable stay. Clean room, friendly staff. I've stayed twice. The first time, I had a patio with a partial view of the ocean. I liked this room. The second time, we stayed in a room with a terrace overlooking the parking lot, which I don't recommend.
