The only issue we had is the bed. Its so worn out the head is lower than the feet, and you sink towards the middle of the bed.

Airport Shuttle was a plus. Bar was nice but we did not spend much time there. Staff were incredible. Very nice, helpful, friendly and would definitely stay again. Close to walking to so many areas and felt safe waking even at night

The Westin Bayview is located a couple of blocks from the Santa Fe Amtrak Depot. This is a wonderful hotel from which to navigate to various great parts of the city, such as the Seaport Village, Balboa Park, and the Gaslamp District. The Westin is beautiful, clean, and has comfy beds. The staff is warm and welcoming. Well done Westin Bayview.

Room A/C didn’t cool below 70°F. Had to call front desk 3x times to follow up for a basic request - more pillows. Housekeeping vacuuming floors and slamming door of room next to us at 11PM. Decent business travel hotel - skip it for vacation stay at the Hyatt or something closer to the water. However our housekeeper Norma was an absolute delight.

My daughter and I had a blast. Great food, great service. The rooftop pool and hot top was a treat. We even lived riding the elevators. Great views of downtown and the bay!

Felt like a 3 star stay

I personally do not feel this was a four star hotel we had a chair with ripped fabric in our room of which I have photos. The breakfast buffet was closer to what you would get at a Holiday Inn then what I have had at other four star hotels. Next time I visit San Diego I will stay somewhere else. That being said I felt the customer service was very good.
