Location is Prime....Hotel is kinda "crappy". The room was clean enough and the beds a little small but comfy. The shampoo, etc. provided was not very good. This hotel is on the beach and the last minute rate we paid for a holiday weekend was great. We were surprised by the 3rd party parking charge and grateful we didn't have to use it. The restaurant attached call "World Famous" had amazing food; we sat at the bar to avoid the long wait for the restaurant. The boarwalk in Pacific Beach especially at night felt unsafe and the area in gerneral crowded and a bit dirty. We really enjoyed the proximity to the Mission Bay boardwalk and waling paths.

Room had a bad smell, the cooling they had turned the power off every time we turned it on, towels looked worn and stained. You could hear upstairs toilet every time it flushed. Door lock didn’t work.

Great staff - especially Lillian at the front desk. The room is clean and spacious with a deck overlooking the ocean. Lots of places to eat very close to the hotel.

Pictures are deceiving
My boyfriend and I were excited for a 1 night getaway. Upon arrival, we had a feeling the place was not what we expected. It was run down and dingy. We were given a ADA compliant room which was also unexpected. The front desk offered to give us a 2 double beds room that was not ADA compliant, but we declined since we wanted a king. The room was hot so we turned on the portable air conditioner. During the night, the hose that connects to it and the wall came loose and heated up the room to at least 80 degrees. This was a very uncomfortable experience for what we paid. I am VERY disappointed and dissatisfied.
