Would stay here again - great for all ages

We loved the location, you're so close to walk to everything, just steps away from the USS Marine Museum. The breakfast had great variety for all ages. The Bay view were more like a partial Bay view because of how the hotel is designed, but great views with big windows. Wish the rooms were equipped with comfy chairs to relax in front of the windows. The pool was terrific for kids and the patio and pool area had a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the sunshine or the fire places at night.

We stayed with our family for a 5 day visit to San Diego. Everything exceeded our expectations. The room had a great view, the amenities were great, everything is well maintained, and the breakfast is one of the best included breakfasts we have had. The location is perfect both for exploring downtown and easy travel to other areas around San Diego. I highly recommend this hotel.

Springhill is an excellent hotel with a convenient location and experienced personnel. Complementary breakfast has a pretty standard food variety. I wish they could introduce more options, but it was not bad, much better than in some other hotels. Good WiFi quality. The only thing I disliked and that made me upgrade my room was the small size of their sofa bed. They named it double, but we realized it was smaller than the "full" size. If you have two kids younger than 10, you should be fine. Otherwise, consider a room with two queen beds.

Wonderful rooms. We chose the two queen beds and sofa bed because our 18 year old traveled with us and he had some studying to do. The small desk in the living are was perfect for him. Wish we could have stayed longer. Best gym I’ve worked out in a hotel, and the continental breakfast had something for everyone,and bold coffee was just how I like it. The area is on point with wonderful eating options and view.

The hotel is perfect for a night out in San Diego. Parking was included with the hotel package we chose and that was perfect. It can get expensive to pay and find parking in a busy city like San Diego. The hotel had an amazing view and the room was clean!

Excellent location! Wake up to the beautiful view of the harbor with all the ships! Despite the rain and chilly weather everything was great. Can't wait to return this summer.

Family weekend stay

We chose this spot because of its location to the train station and airport. We arrived on the Pacific Surfliner from Anaheim and enjoyed the simple walk to this hotel, we arrived a bit early and they had our room ready which was awesome! The staff was quirky but friendly, and the amenities were as described. We were traveling with a family of 4 and it was accommodating for our needs. We also checked out the local pop up market on the weekend which was great. We enjoyed to close proximity to many things and also this location was a 15min ride to the zoo which was our primary purpose. I would stay here again (photos are from the 12th floor elevator view)
