Great location for MCRDSD bootcamp graduation. Easy drive to base, airport, groceries, Balboa Park and all its zoo/museums, Old Town. Host very responsive. Street parking easy to find.

Great location! This house is close to downtown, I-5, and everything near Balboa Park area. We visited Coronado Island, Pacific Beach, and downtown SD to name a few. We would come back to this location!

My family and I were very pleased with the blue cottage. It was very clean and accommodated all of our needs with the ice maker and dishwasher and laundry facilities. We also enjoyed the patio outside and the grill area. Our stay was very pleasant

This property is pretty nice and easy to find. The only thing I wish was clear in the description was that parking was only available on the street. Other than that everything else was enjoyable.

Family visit overflow housing

The little blue cottage is in a perfect location for us, in town near our home, close to many attractions. The owners provided easy communication and helped us manage changes to our needs with ease. They were available, but not demanding. Thanks for sharing your home.

Lovely place for a family stay

The neighborhood here is perfect!!! So close to everything. Absolutely cute and happy little home to stay in. Very clean. The front porch is a wonderful place to decompress. If you stay here, do keep in mind the parking situation as it can fill up on the street at night. But we found parking every time with a little searching depending on the time of night.

Cozy and Central

We enjoyed our stay here. The unit was clean with very comfortable beds, and the AC works great. This unit is in an excellent location, and is only a 10-20 minute drive away from just about anything you’d want to do. Quiet neighborhood that seems safe and friendly. My main complaint about the location is that it’s street parking only, which isn’t disclosed in the description. It wasn’t a big deal, but it can be challenging to find a close spot. You also have to walk through one bedroom to access another, which is also something that wasn’t disclosed. Not a huge deal for us personally, but absolutely could be an irritating issue privacy wise depending on your group. Only major issue was there was some shoddy electric work with noticeably loose junction boxes that pull out of the wall., and exposed wire in the closet. The host was apologetic and assured me that it would be fixed after our stay, but I feel it needs to be mentioned as it was unsafe. That said, overall it’s a nice little house and fit our purposes well. Electric aside, I’d recommend it for a laid back stay with a small family.
