This was a great location within walking distance of many restaurants and Shelter island. It is pretty busy on the road next to the property so the cars were pretty noisy until late. It is a dated building and pretty humble but had clean rooms and the staff was very friendly.

The room needs to be better maintained rough paint job on walls, the bathroom door didnt close unless you pushed it real hard. It got stuck and had to pull real hard to open it It worked for us, but not sure we will be back

Close to the harbor was the only upside. I arrived around 8 and no one was around to check me in. I had to physically call the hotel and let the phone ring (for some time) before anyone showed up to check me in. I was then given a horribly smelly room with an awful bed and a broken air conditioner. It was July. I’ll never stay here again.
