If I return to Salzburg, I will definitely choose the hotel again. It is so convenient. When you get out of the train station, the hotel is on your right side. Train station has everything you need, bakery, grocery store. The breakfast is excellent, many choices. The staffs are very helpful, especially about the beautiful city. Within 30 mins walking distance, Mirabell garden, old town, castle, Mozart related sites. The hotel is an excellent start when you visit Salzburg, more helpful than information center. Bus 840 is one block away taking you to Königssee. Strongly recommend. I would especially thank duty manager Tom. He recommended an Austrian restaurant. The foods and service is much more beyond my expectations. Thank you very much, Tom.

Wait time to check in was quite long. The person took my documents and kept me waiting quite a while without telling me what was the reason for the wait. There seemed to be a problem with the system, someone came over to help after some time. Also, I was supposed to receive the guest card that allows for free public transport like I automatically received in Innsbruck the same week by email. I did not and the next day I had to come back to the counter and ask for it and they had one printed out for me. Otherwise the stay was good in general and very good breakfast with vegetarian options. Quiet and comfortable room. Friendly staff.

Great location and wonderful staff. The rooms are clean and i love the kettle in the room. It is HOT in the room. The AC situation is complicated and does not stay on continuously. If you open the window, it negates the AC. The breakfast is worth it and well stocked.

We only stopped one night on our way to the Dolomites - but the hotel couldn't be in a more central location. We drove, but if you take the train, it is literally right outside the main doors of the train station.

We enjoyed staying at the H+ Hotel Salzburg for 3 nights. The hotel is right next to the main station and different modes of transportation is right in front. There is a few supermarkets and dining options in very close proximity’s. Staff is great. I was able to check in early and the staff called us shortly to make sure everything was fine. Thar was a very nice touch.

The only thing I liked about the property was its proximity to the train station. However, that possesses challenges as you have a lot of riffraff around the hotel in the evenings and nights. While we did not encounter any untoward incident, we were just careful about going around. It is always better to get a hotel in inside the town of Altstadt which however, may be more expensive. This is more a budget hotel with no refrigerator in the room, no service provided unless asked for, the safe was not working, and even though we stayed four nights, it was never repaired and we had to keep our important documents with another family that was traveling with us. this is a good hotel for someone who is looking at, not a lot of amenities, but just proximity to the station and fast food like McDonald’s, Burger King and Starbucks. The hotel also does not provide any kind of shampoo, conditioner. You are provided with a hand wash and also another body wash that also you are supposed to use for your hair. Overall, I’m very surprised by so many +10 star reviews. However, the front desk was good and was able to even take us to the medical shop when we needed some medicine. That was the only redeeming aspect for the property.

Highly recommend

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it is conveniently located right next to the main station. There is a grocery store adjacent to the hotel, making it easy to buy anything you might need. Additionally, there are fast food options like McDonald's and Burger King nearby. I rented a car from SIXT, which was just a two-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was clean, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. It's also very close to popular tourist attractions. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Salzburg. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were brilliant and the property was clean and in a nice area. The wellness suite wasn’t quite as expected and the WiFi could do with being improved as it dropped out a lot.

Clean room, we had a couple of concerns, when we arrived the air conditioning was not working but the hotel send the person responsible fot this right away we were happy about this, the next morning all the hotel guests and personnel were evacuated due to a “technical difficulties” we found out in the afternoon that was a guest smoking inone of the bathrooms, the staff was really helpful

The location is next to the train station & bus connections making it useful as a base for travelling around. There are numerous shops nearby for any essentials. The hotel itself was ok. Pros: Location for transport links, quiet inside, reasonably clean & modern, ideal as a base for travelling round western Austria & the Obersalzburg. Cons: No dining aside from breakfast, no fridge in rooms, the shower is badly designed with no seals around the door so water leaks all over the floor (other rooms reported the same), room cleaning could have been better but was ok, alcoholics congregate in the large square beside the station (not the hotel’s fault & they didn’t appear to bother anyone in the two weeks I was there but it may put some off).
