Character property that has a few signs of wear and tear, but taking into account its age, that's okay. Some distance from town and allow plenty of time to drive and find a park - both are a little chaotic. The local drivers seem to always be in a desperate hurry to be somewhere else.

Nice hotel with lovely grounds and common areas

Pros: Ample parking.
We stayed two nights. Unfortunately, the last of these was a night when the hotel was also hosting a wedding. The lounge area, which we had previously enjoyed, was too close to the function area and was noisy and as it was being used to welcome wedding guests, you felt as though you were intruding. The hotel is quite a distance from the town centre. It is a nice walk but crossing the road can be a little exciting at times as there is a lot of traffic and no pedestrian crossings. Guests are requested not to bring any food or drink into the hotel. Given the distance from alternatives, this means that you must eat in the hotel restaurants in which the food is of average quality and more highly priced.
