We did not stay and asked the front desk to refund the money they did and mentioned. Hotels.com will refund it to us. The rooms smelled bad, so we went to a different hotel. Hotels.com does advertise the places as great and is not always the case. I will not recommend using the Hotels.com platform.

a Mixed Bag

The service was very good. They went above and beyond to help us get a room on the first floor (my wife recently had back surgery). They also retrieved an item we left in the room. That said, the furniture in the room was worn and spotted. The breakfast was lacking. It was fine for staying overnight but nothing more.
