I love this hotel and its location. Shonette at the front desk is amazing along with the rest of the hotel staff. They were very professional, attentive and friendly. The rooms were very clean. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was good and hot. Parking was very convenient. I would recommend a stay at this hotel if you’re passing through Houston, Tx.

I loved the view! Their rooms seemed very clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was kind of a mess because how busy it was so the food ran out fast. But not long after the staff would quickly restock everything. Parking wasn’t bad too; I always found parking close enough to not have to hike inside. The Area felt very safe during the day and at night; if a nightly walk was your thing.

I’ve had several stays at this property, but it seems that the building has aged since my last stay a year ago. Staff is friendly as always. The 9th floor Lakeside view was my reserved room. After I reached the 9th floor there were parts of the ceiling hanging down and a moldy smell. I requested another room so the manager said she would place me on the 6th floor but no lakeside view, and would take $20 off my room rate. That was fine but also noticed in that room there was a plumbing sound coming from the bathroom sink. The stay was ok but I noticed a lot of change in the building quality.

However they came to early (8 am), we asked them to come back, even spoke to front desk mgr to confirm cleaning but returned to room with no room service which meant NO towels to shower. Waited 1/2 hr for someone to come. Front desk just blamed mistake on house keeping. Just not good customer service. Our room view over lake was nice
