The team at Relais Monti were excellent. They reached out via WhatsApp prior to arrival to coordinate check in, were friendly, and helpful- particularly Maura who brought my travel companion ice for an injury. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very spacious. The air conditioning worked well in our room and on our floor. We also had a lovely patio with sitting area. The property was clean and close to amenities such as restaurants, laundromat, and public transit. About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station if you like to walk. Breakfast was tasty and included: pastries, eggs, antipasti (olives, peppers, cucumbers), coffee options, yogurt and cereal (and more). We ate on the patio- beautiful way to start the morning. There is an elevator, which is small and slow (and hot), but beats going up 4 flights of stairs with luggage. Would stay here again! It was very comfortable and felt safe.

Pleasant stay

We stayed at Relais Monti for 5 nights and it was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We dropped the baggage before check in. The hotel is close to everything. 2 minutes walk to restaurants, laundry, metro station. You can buy food and drink downstairs at Carrefour Express until 11pm. 20 minutes walk to main attractions.

Great place to stay when exploring Rome

Lovely place in a charming and not too busy district of Rome. You can easily walk to & from Roma Termini (main train station) & the Colleseum from here. Great restaurants nearby & lovely cafes plus artisan shops. Really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast that was supposed to start at 7 started at 7:20 when an angry cook finished her late cooking 🍳 The balcony wasn’t clean, after sitting in a chair my whole back was black from dirt. There were some nails sticking out from the floor.

It was close to transportation and food options also for walking to the sights in Rome. It had an elevator which was really nice so you didn’t have to climb the stairs with baggage. We also felt very safe. And the manager’s were very nice to work with.

No real complaints. Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. It was very hot and the air conditioner was adequate but would only run when we were in the room so it took a long time to cool off the room. I know that’s common in hotels, but during hot weather I wish they. Oils make exceptions. Good location

A Few Days in Rome

Great location halfway between Termini and the Colosseum. East walk to metro. Lots of restaurants within a ten-minute walk. Nice room, with good front desk staff. Slow elevator, but they have on.

This hotel was perfect for our city break. It’s a short walk to most of the main tourist attractions. On the same street there is an abundance of really nice restaurants and cafes. The room was perfectly clean and the cleaners done a great job each day. We required a late check in and the hotel sent very simple and straightforward instructions to allow us to get into our room. If you’re looking for a hotel in a great location to explore the city I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Very comfortable hotel with great staff, nice rooftop breakfast area. Room was big enough for the three of us for a few nights, clean, well air-conditioned, and reliable wifi. Location is great, lots of really good restaurant options right there. Laundry service and a grocer very close, too. Easy walk to the Colosseum, Roma Termini, metro station, and bus stops. Would stay here again!
