The room was clean and all of the staff were very nice and accommodating, with the exception of one guy who worked overnight and did not lift a finger to help me, even though I told him I was sick, hungry and dizzy. Uhmb, I hope I spelt the name right, was an angel! He let me use his phone to call my husband who had became hospitalized and loaned me a charger so I could charge my phone. He was very patient and a real Godsend!! The older Indian gentleman was great as well. Even the housekeeper helped me load my luggage on the elevator.

We had an unexpected stay at Hotel Sonya when our flight home was cancelled. It was so refreshing to have such excellent care and customer service. Nothing was to hard for them to do to assist us. This boutique hotel is ideally located and it is now a favorite, as with many things in Italy it may not be planned but it is a pleasant surprise. We will be back!

This hotel was a last minute choice due to a flight change and picked because of the reviews by previous guests that were very positive. It was also very reasonably priced. First impressions with the entry way and lobby were a little underwhelming. But, the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. Our rooms were very nice, spotless, the beds extremely comfortable and the bathrooms pleasantly updated. The location was great, lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby and there were picturesque areas that we spent time walking around and just enjoying on our last day in Rome. There was also a fantastic Thai Spa & Massage place just across the road, great staff and highly recommended as the perfect way to unwind after a hectic few days of tours and sightseeing.
