A very nice, clean, and modern hotel in the center just around Campo de Fiori. The staff are friendly. We enjoyed having drinks at the rooftop garden.

The location of hotel Smeraldo was fantastic! Very central location to key sites. Close to many neighborhood restaurants! The reception staff are over the top attentive, friendly and super helpful!!! Would highly recommend!! Have stayed here on 2 occasions ourself!

Fantastic home base for exploring the center of Rome. The staff was amazing, super helpful, and accommodating, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. I have lived in and been to Rome many times, and this was the perfect mix of location, size, safety, and amenities. The front desk staff (esp Massimo) was beyond friendly and helpful! Wish I was still there.

Great Stay!

Excellent location. Easy walk to mostly all of the famous attractions; Vatican City and the colosseum are about a 30 min walk. Breakfast was excellent…. great selection and quality. Rooms are small, but clean and nicely furnished. Loads of dining options and retail just outside the entry. Staff is very helpful.

Great hotel - loved the location!! 5 minutes to Campo fiori and the market; 10 mins to Piazza Navona, 15 to the Trevi fountain (all walking). Everyone was very friendly. The rooftop bar had the best drinks and a great staff! Highly recommend

AMAZING HOTEL!

Our stay at this hotel was truly incredible! It is a beautiful hotel in a great location, we were able to walk to EVERYTHING! I would also like to give a shout out to Leonardo at the front desk, he was incredibly kind and made us feel SO welcomed, he had us smiling from the second we walked in and truly made our stay memorable! Pros: very friendly staff, centrally located, great breakfast Cons: the room was very small & asymmetric (slanted walls which made it very cramped), the a/c would come on & off every few minutes followed by a loud noise after turning off, made it very hard to sleep. There was black mold in our shower.
