A great place to stay
I stayed six nights and I really enjoyed the Hotel. Great location, it is off the beaten path, you aren't close to any other hotels, so not a lot of tourists, or places looking for tourist money. A complimentary breakfast each morning got things off to a great start. There is a restaurant right next door that is REALLY good and very casual. Everything you'd want to do is an easy walk from this hotel. The front desk staff, breakfast attendant and housekeeping were very good at their jobs!!!!!

On 10-10-2023, we arrived before check-in. Simon allowed us to leave our luggage. When we arrived at 7:30PM from our tour the room was not available/cleaned. The night manager, Arturo, was upset that I stayed by the door to make sure the room was cleaned properly as he as going to clean the room. I also told him I didn’t want a dirty quilt put back on the bed. Arturo told me I should go to another hotel. I told him that at this time (8:30 PM) I cannot go find another hotel. I also told him that I have every right to be upset as I made my reservation 10 months in advance back in January. Arturo didn’t speak to me after that. The room was finished after 9 PM. The room did not resemble like the pictures on their website. The room was very out dated, leak and mildew on shower door.

Great views of Vatican City from our balcony. Wonderful breakfast included (and I don’t even like breakfast). So easy to walk everywhere from our hotel. Our only complaint was it was quite hot in the afternoons and our thermostat could not be set lower than about 75. It was really hot trying to sleep at night. Otherwise, we loved our stay here.
