Well located hotel

We booked the hotel at the last minute. We were really happy with the location and setting. Located in a pretty part of Rome a short stroll from the train station and surrounded by some lovely restaurants. The hotel was a little tired, but the staff were friendly and attentive.

Omg where do I start, never been so disappointed in a hotel in my life. We arrived and the room was supposed to be clean and ready. We walked in and wouldn't sleep on the sheets as the room was so dirty. We complained to the desk that someone left an old suitcase in the room but they didn't care. The dust was so thick. The place was so gross never again would I ever think or send anyone there. Please take them off your list my friends took pictures of the grossness. To pay over 1000 dollars for 3 nights was the biggest waste. I just can't believe the filth.

We liked the fact that it’s located where there’s plenty of restaurants around the hotel. The hotel room was nice except for the foul smell coming from the toilet (kind a like sewer) that we have to open the window at all times.

Choices inadequate at breakfast. Room-fly in room; bit children; no solution offered despite informing hotel. Asked for extra pillows for all; only 1 given. Bathroom door lock broken; shower in wrong direction; no place to stand; no running hot water; had to hold switch continuously; extremely painful. Commode cover broken. Air conditioner control only with reception. Should not be listed on Expedia.
