I was very pleasantly surprised to find this lovely, spacious, comfortable, and clean hotel on the Via Cavour in Rome just about 4 blocks from the Santa Maria Maggiore. The building in which it's located with ugly stairwell did not prepare me for what I found within: a friendly, helpful reception and a perfectly comfortable room with a large, firm bed and a large, new, sparkling-clean bathroom. As you will see if you read reviews about hotels in Rome, it can be difficult to find rooms with their own temperature control, working Wi-Fi, hot water in the shower, good water pressure, etc. The Casa Cleo has it all, plus complimentary coffee and hot tea, all for a good price. I will definitely book a room at Casa Cleo again when I return to Rome. Grazie per tutte le vostre gentilezze!
