The staff was friendly. The room was clean when we arrived. The location is located close to good restaurants and the Termini Train Station. There is even a decent souvenir store across the street. The reason for the three stars was the front staff did not react to an issue we had in the room. The toilet was not flushing properly. The "objects" would not go down, even after multiple flush attempts. We reported this to the overnight front desk person on January 5th and the 7th at approximately 6:00-6:30 AM. The problem was not resolved. We reported the issue again on the 9th around 9 AM. The issue was fixed by the maintenance staff. We spent all of our days out on tours. We were not sure if the issue was with the maintenance staff or the overnight front desk person did not relay the issue.

This is my favorite hotel in Rome. We always stay. Accommodations are updated, hotel is clean and comfortable. Food is good. Only issue is the smoking area is right outside the hotel doors and the smoke comes into the lobby. They need to move the smoking area.

This hotel is run by criminals. I agreed to pay a premium rate in order to pay them at check in as my group of 44 people was changing and growing and IO wanted to pay for the exact amount of rooms I needed at check-in. The hotel decided to cancel my rooms saying that Ihad provided an incorrect credit card. I protested via hotels.com and then they cancelled my rooms saying that I requested cancellation which I hadn't. They then rang up my Amex card for several thousand dollars. I contacted hotels.com again and they reached out to the hotel and the message I received back was that the hotel was overbooked and could get more for the rooms than I had agreed to pay. Don't stay here. I never will!
