Great place to stay if you want a great value! Very friendly staff and fresh towels provided daily. Quiet area since it's away from the busy attractions, but still a convenient location being near several bus stops.

Loved, loved, loved this place. It felt like family and staff took care of us like family. Nice older building, wonderful breakfasts on the balcony. Walk in one direction from hotel it’s messy, walk any other direction and it’s nice - plenty of dining options as well as a farmers market and laundry near by. Out of a score from 1-10, I give the Athena Hotel and staff a 20❤️❤️

On our third night we were not allowed to use a dining room table to eat a sandwich. The employee told us that he did not authorize us and began to move our belongings from one place to another without our authorization in a rude manner. Finally, we ate outside (balcony) with drizzle, cold, thunder and lightning. Very unpleasant experience in this hotel with employees who logically do not know what it means to work in this industry.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The building was a little dated and you have to take a bus or subway to see stuff. The breakfast was not really substantial: just a roll and a few crackers with tea or coffee.

This is not a negative review as much as it is an honest review. The staff was friendly and nice although she had a hard time finding change for a 50euro. The rooms were clean but very dated. Beds were uncomfortable, showers leaked so badly we ran it at half pressure so we didn’t soak the walls. No sink in bathroom, the lighting was flickery and sometime took a couple tries to get turned on. Found a big ugly bug but quickly squashed it. It was the last we saw. Kind of hard find the entrance. For the price we paid it seems reasonable to make a few upgrades

Basic but Fine!

This place is perfect if you're looking for a functional but cheap place to stay. Close to a metro stop it's very quick into the centre and about 20 min walk from the main train station which has direct trains to Fiumicino airport. It's by no means a 5* hotel, everything is very basic, but if you're just looking for a clean, easy place to stay, then it's absolutely perfect!

Simple and basic - with a smile.

Get what you pay for. Wifi did not work in the room, and restroom was cramped. But the staff are at the reception 24/7 and always helpful. Location was good for me, had supermarket across road, and 5 minute walk to Metro (3 stops into Termini).

Staff great/Room needs some love

Hard to find, very hard to find parking, room needs a lot of love. Sight stated laundry on sight, it was located blocks away, nothing on site. Rooms are very minimal in furnishings. 2 outlet in the room, one used by the frig. Breakfast had very limited selections. Not a bad stay, but not sure if I would stay again.
