The hotel was accessible to Sta Maria Maggiore. Overall the hotel had excellent caring personnel; the hotel had a restaurant and they serve delicious food . It had clean rooms and it had Christmas decor as well , I will definitely come back

We stayed at Albergo Ottocento twice during our 2 weeks in Italy, the location is great close to main sites and the metro. The staff all friendly and helpful. When we came back for our 2nd stay, the front desk person said “welcome back” ! Great to be remembered with all of the people staying there. I would recommend Albergo Ottocento to anyone.

The staff our outstanding in this hotel, they couldn’t have helped us more on our trip with our baby. We arrived at the hotel before check in and they had the room ready for us to get a sleep before exploring Rome.

The rooms are a little tired and could use updating, bed is very hard. No robes, slippers, coffee or tea in room. I did not appreciate the note on the fridge asking guests not to use it for "outside" food or drinks. Staff were mostly indifferent.

The rooms were clean. Although the first room (109) given to us did not have WiFi signal. This room is tucked in all the way on the back. Luckily we were able to get a different room with WiFi the following day. Breakfast was good. Hotel is walking distance to most tourist attractions.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. We really felt welcome. The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable and the Á/C kept everything cool. The only downside is that the bathroom needs updating. There was a new shower head at one end, and a traditional, old style sticking out in the middle. Also, the shower curtain was mountain 3 inches inside the edge of the tub so it ended up being a very narrow space. Á huge long bathtub with little space for a shower. The corners of the bath tub had some mold to clean up too.

Loved it! Would stay here again. Charming old world boutique hotel in the best section of Rome (near Via Veneto). Classically Italian in all the right ways (decor, food, service). Walkable to all major sites plus near Metro stops. Quiet, charming street location. Reasonably priced too.
