Overall the room was nice, albeit there was mold growing on the walls in the bathroom, and the amount of hot water for showering was lacking. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

Stayed at the property for a 3 nights. Was VERY easy to access from Termini station, we had light luggage (carry on and personal backpack). Walkable from station. Bus is also right outside the hotel so very convenient . Rooms wore very bug size along with bathroom. The staff were very friendly and felt the hospitality. I would definitely recommend and would return.

We recently stayed at Domus Liberius in Rome and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore all the must-see sights in the city. The highlight of our stay was definitely Jasmine—she was an incredible member of the team, so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond by assisting us with storing our luggage the following day, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel itself is charming, and the service was impeccable. I would have no hesitation in booking with Domus Liberius again when we return to Rome. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the hotel was good overall. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. Upon arrival, we were given a map of Rome with all the key tourist attractions highlighted, along with the nearest metro stops, which made exploring the city much easier. However, we did feel a little swindled when we saw our room - the economy option. The photos on the website made all the rooms look beautiful and well-presented, but ours fell a little short of expectations. It had no natural light, felt quite warm despite the air conditioning, and was a bit small for two people. The bed also seemed to be a small double, making it feel rather snug. One unexpected feature was the motion-activated floor light. We learned the hard way one night when, in the early hours, a quick reach for a glass of water triggered a light so bright it was almost as strong as the ceiling lamp! For the rest of our stay, we covered it with a spare blanket to ensure we could sleep properly. Another thing to note is the city tax, which is €6 per night per person and must be paid in cash. While this is stated in the terms and conditions, it’s easy to miss - so it might be worth making it clearer at the time of booking. One real highlight was the hotel’s luggage storage, which we used on our last day. It was a lifesaver, as the storage room also had a sofa and bathroom facilities, allowing us to relax before heading to the airport. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and we would consider staying again!

Main entrance pin access, hotel was very clean and well maintained (new bathroom suite recently put in waterfall shower😍). Mini fridge in room (empty) nice touch (went shopping and stored fresh items). 10/10 stay 10/10 staff member so helpful. Just outside the hotel bus stop, next door right side local shop and left side a pasta takeaway. Straight across the street Santa Maria Maggiore beautiful. Everything was walkable but nice to have the option of the bus also. Hopefully be staying really soon again.

We loved this hotel. It is super clean with really helpful staff. Was a quiet place to stay about 15 minutes from historic Rome. It’s a stone throw from termini and has a lot of cool coffee places nearby.

Great hotel with very spacious rooms and modern design. Kettle and tea/coffee facilities are in the hotel lobby. A few cons: Walls are fairly thin, so we could hear our neighbour in the toilet. Not great, but to be expected in old buildings. A bit of a smell from the bathroom, again expected from an old building. Our in room fridge and safe didn’t work, possibly something wrong with the power socket in that area. Likewise our usb points didn’t work.

We stayed at Domus Liberius for 2 nights, it is about a 5 minute walk from Termini station, right beside Santa Maria Maggiore. We found it easily and were checked in efficiently by a very pleasant and helpful girl, who gave us advice on sights to see and places to eat. The area felt safe. Our double room was large and clean, we were impressed with it. There is a supermarket right downstairs which was really useful to buy drinks, snacks, toiletries, etc. One piece of advice is to buy your tickets for the Vatican and Colloseum before you go to avoid long queues, we also wished we had booked a guided tour. All the sights are walkable, we did use the underground and it is cheap and easy to use. Also get a bus from the airport into city centre, it is half the price of the train and does not take alot longer. I would recommend Domus Liberius, and would stay there again if I returned to Rome

The location is great, room was clean and spacious. I was suprised by additional charge which was a tourist tax of which therewas no communication in any emails and messages from expedia and property owner. The only minus of ghe property was very bad smell from the toilet, whixh eas clean so it might me just old pipe works ( the building wasvery old) . But it was not pleasant. Overall worth the price paid. Thank you
