This beautifully renovated hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood area. It is close (very walkable) to the downtown area and to many dining and entertainment options, including the hot springs pools. The train station is a very short walk away. A coffee shop and a brewery restaurant can be accessed without leaving the building, if the weather dictates staying in. Helpful and professional staff complete the package.

Stayed after camping for three days in crested butte. Check in was incredibly easy, and they allowed us to check in an hour early. We ended up doing street parking as the desk told us it was okay overnight. It is an older hotel, so the bathroom is a bit strange with a small sink and light switch in the bedrroom instead of inside. My only complaint, although like I said it is a older hotel.. Is that we could easily hear into the hallways and other rooms. We were woken up multiple times by simply footsteps above us that echoed loudly, and the sounds of people leaving their rooms in the early morning and room service cleaning them. We were hoping to get a good night's rest after camping and sleeping not so well, but I can count at least four times we woke up from regular sounds, that wouldn't be heard in other, newer hotels. Overall, very clean, comfy bed, nice staff. maybe bring earplugs though.

Bait and switch?

2 problems. 1: the room we were given much different then, and inferior to the one reserved. 2: no elevator for final floor to room. Would have chosen different hotel had either of these been disclosed.

Nice place to stay in Glenwood. Love all of the updates, but was surprised they don’t recycle. The tap water doesn’t taste very good, so they give you water bottles upon request, but they don’t recycle? Seems odd in today’s climate. Offer recycling or a filtered water station for people to fill their own bottles. It’s the responsible thing to do!

I was very impressed by this hotel and my hubby travel a lot. We had a gorgeous suite with 2 bathrooms - we weren’t even expecting that. Our room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was close to restaurants and the train station. If I go back to Glenwood I would look forward to staying there again!

Not worth it

Hotel is old, which we knew. Lights in room were dim at best and one night table light was out. There was no fan in bathroom, air conditioner is super loud. Upon checking in, the guy told us because we were checking in so late, he wouldn’t charge us the $20 for parking. I checked my credit card statement today, and we were charged. So not cool.

Highly Recommend the Top of the Town suite

We stayed in the Top of the Town suite and it was amazing. Love having the brewery on the bottom floor because it's truly some of the best food in town! And great location watching the train come and go and walking distance to the Hot Springs and all of the awesome bars and restaurants!
