Comfortable House

Overall we had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The location was perfect for visiting King's Dominion. I was worried when I received emails from VRBO a few days before my trip but they didn't include check-in information. It was difficult to contact Heather through VRBO messaging, but once she called and texted me the communication improved. She was able to explain that she would text me the door code once the cleaners had finished at the property and it was ready for check in and that is exactly what happened.

Only 3 stars because the pillows are disgustingly old and flat. I had to go buy my own pillows at Kohl’s because I could not do it lol. Very bad window coverings. They need to invest in blindsBut other than that the kitchen was clean and updated.

Super clean but very noisy

Probably one of the nicest VRBO's we have stayed in. Unfortunately the back yard in on a state highway with constant high speed traffic and trucks use air brakes to slow down. The listing description is inaccurate. It is not quiet. There wasn't even any outdoor furniture in the back. Makes sense, ti's too noisy to sit outside. Bring your ear plugs or loud noise maker if you stay here. If noise doesn't bother you, it is a nice place.

I was stressed that I did not have entrance code until a few minutes before I arrived. Our friends arrived before us and had to wait to get in as I couldn't send them the code!Send or listing door locking (from outside) information would have been helpful rather than trial and error.

We were in the area for a graduation and birthday. The property was just what we were looking for. A very quiet neighborhood, located near shopping and a 15 minute drive to our son. The property was very cute, clean, and comfortable. We were only there for a short time (one day). We were in the area to attend an event, so we were only there less than 24 hours (checked in at 4PM, attended event until late, and left the next morning at 10am). Communication was efficient and I knew what to expect upon arrival. Again, great stay!
