I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this hotel. The lobby and accompanying coffee area and restaurant very cozy and has a diverse menu. The overall location of the hotel was also convenient to the downtown Reykjavík shops, museums, and restaurants.

Warm and friendly hotel. Wonderful staff, beautiful interior with lots of lighting and candles at night. Very warm and cozy. Rooms are the same with very comfortable beds and lovely bathroom amenities. They also have a happy hour in the evening, which is nice. The only downside is that it is in a rather ugly industrial building, but it turns out that many of the buildings in the city look just like it. Ugly on the outside but Beautiful inside. I would definitely recommend staying here. Within walking distance of rainbow Road, the church and the pedestrian area.

This hotel was a gem. It is super nice entry and open seating restuarant area. The food was delicious and the staff was nice. It was a quiet, peaceful and calm feeling. The rooms were small but very comfortable. The location is ideal - close to the main streets and areas to tour but a few blocks off so it was very quiet. The dinner menu was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Hotel

This hotel is lovely! The staff was kind and they have an amazing spread for breakfast (which is an extra fee of $32 USD/day), which includes hot foods like bacon and eggs. Also loved the eco-friendliness of the hygiene products and room servicing. Thank you for a great and welcoming stay!

A comfortable stay

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The room was comfortable for myself and well-kept. I read some comments about the location, that the hotel seems remote to some. That entire area of the city is walkable, and Laugavegur Street is only a couple of blocks away. That's where the entire walk towards the center of town begins with multiple shops that distract you while you do a 15-minute walk or so towards the harbor. I didn't find the hotel "remote," in other words, but I understand that it's not in the center of town, which was fine by me. The weather was perfect for walks. My only concern would be true of most of the hotels in this area, which is that none of them came with breakfast included but the approximately $30 fee wasn't unusually high if you compare prices at similar restaurants in Reykjavik. The city restaurants are pricey. I usually prefer for breakfast to be included. Other than this, I appreciated how the hotel coordinates well with the bus services that take one to excursions and to the airport.
