I think the industrial concrete vibe is the opposite of what I'd like to experience in Iceland. The aspiring hipster 80s punk aesthetic is a huge turn off-- and the acoustics from the restaurant carry on all day and night, which is jarring. I don't know why almost all hotels I stayed in in Iceland are unbearably hot with a huge duvet-- but I will not be using hotels when I come back. I'd rather be cold in a yurt than hot in a hotel with no view. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly!

I didn't like the fact that there was no parking facilities associated with the property, contrary to the facilities listed on Expedia. Paid street parking at reasonable rates was some distance away from the hotel.
