The Exeter is a lovely hotel! We had a wonderful stay, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, a perfect place to stay in Reykjavik! Be sure to check out the attached restaurant and bakery, both were delicious!

We’ve stayed at hotel Exeter about five time, it is our favorite hotel in Reykjavik. We stay our first and last night here and they always thank us for returning and actually recognize us. We never ask but usually end up with an upgrade. The staff is wonderful.

There is parking in their garage for a fee but honestly the street parking around the area is really easy and convenient. The hotel itself was excellent location, easy access to the routes necessary to explore ring road and the golden circle. Sauna access was super and included breakfast was a win.

Too noisy. Every early morning somebody was drilling the wall and our room was beside where the cleaning material get stored. The locations was great and the donuts are the best.

Super cool design and the restaurants were very good. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the shower water was powerful and hot! Nice walk out to a veranda and ability to open window and doors set the room up for a personal experience.

The hotel is in a great area at the harbor and across from a bus stop/pick up point for tours and the airport bus. The property had several great restaurants/bars and the service was wonderful. Made our stay in Iceland even better to be based here!

We had the perfect stay at the Exeter. Great location, service & we enjoyed the lockers for our belongings before check in and after check out! Super convenient to have the option of storage while we waited. Not to mention the delicious bakery right downstairs! Thank you for the experience!
